about
This track is an exploration on polyrhythm and timbre, where I am investigating the outcome when I combine sample-based synthesis and the usual additive and subtractive synthesis.
The process involves sample based granular synthesis paired with different basic analog synthesizers: SH01, SH09, MOOG Werkstatt, DIY noise generator and TR303 ans a KORG SQ01.
Instead of using a clock divider, I spliced a square wave sample to simulate a 1V pulse and used the MPC 2000XL as the sequencer through its 8 outputs connecting to the different analog synths.
